Pictures From Lake Pymatuning

Went to Lake Pymatuning, there’s a spot called The Spillway where people have been feeding carp bread since the 1930’s. This has resulted in two things:

  1. There is an abundance of large bronze carp lazily swirling along the lake top, nudging each other out of the way for remnants of bread. If you jumped in, you would not make it to the bottom because the carp are in there so thick.
  2. The years of carp eating and pooping in the same location year after year has made the water super gross, like a fish tank that hasn’t been maintained for 50 years. I prayed that my kids did not fall in as I think there is something worse than ebola swimming in those waters.
